Familiarity with guided reading, small group instruction, and formative assessment.
Experience or interest in teaching Social Studies is a plus.
Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom.
Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
Dyslexia and Intervention Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, multisensory reading instruction to students with dyslexia and other reading challenges.
Design and implement individualized intervention plans based on student data and assessment results.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain accurate student progress records.
Utilize structured literacy programs (Reading By Design).
Support classroom differentiation and provide training or resources to staff on dyslexia and evidence-based literacy practices.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress monitoring.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
Valid teaching certification (with dyslexia and/or reading endorsement preferred).
Training or certification in a structured literacy program preferred (Reading By Design).
Demonstrated experience working with students with dyslexia or reading difficulties.
Strong understanding of the science of reading, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and evidence-based intervention practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
High School Facilitator:
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate group activities, discussions, and projects to support student learning.
Work with teachers to implement differentiated instruction for students with varying learning needs.
Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and offer guidance to help students achieve academic and personal goals.
Collaborate with other staff members to plan and implement school-wide initiatives.
Lead individual or small group tutoring sessions to support students in areas of academic need.
Provide a safe and positive learning environment for students, addressing behavioral and academic challenges.
Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, workshops, and events to support student development.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Valid CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
At least 2 years of experience in teaching, facilitating, or working with high school students.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet diverse student needs.
Knowledge of current educational practices, social-emotional learning, and student development.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Experience working with diverse populations is a plus.
Middle School Teacher:
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and state standards.
Teach subjects in social studies & CTE courses.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and respect.
Incorporate technology and innovative tools to enhance learning experiences.
Support students' social-emotional development and encourage their personal growth.
Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and parents to ensure student success.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and faculty meetings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
Valid teaching certification in Texas for middle school education.
At least 1 year of experience teaching at the middle school level (preferred).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to engage and motivate students in grades [6-8].
Familiarity with differentiated instruction and assessment strategies.
Knowledge of current educational practices and trends.
