TEA has officially released the 2026 A–F Accountability Ratings, and we are beyond thrilled with the growth Excelsior ISD has accomplished in just ONE year! This moment is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our students, staff, families, and community.
This past year brought challenges, but it also brought meaningful academic growth and positive change. We are incredibly proud of our students, grateful for our staff, and thankful for a community that continued to believe in our schools and our future.
A very special shoutout to Region 7 and our incredible team—Liz Pendarvis, Barrett Duncan, and Somer Bockover—for their guidance, partnership, encouragement, and countless hours invested in helping Excelsior ISD move forward. We truly could not have done this without you!

First period starts promptly at 7:50 a.m.
The tardy bell will ring at 7:55 a.m.
Dismissal will remain the same as last year at 3:25 p.m.

We are now accepting Out-of-District Transfer Applications for the 2026-2027 school year.
All details on how to obtain transfer applications are below!
If your child already attends Excelsior ISD, their transfer paperwork has been sent home with them. Please check their folders and backpacks.
For new to the district students, parents may stop by the administration office to pick-up an application or you may copy and paste the link below to print.
All applications are due on or before June 1st, 2026.
