Excelsior ISD’s School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) will meet on Wednesday, May 20th at 7:30 a.m.
During the meeting, we will review recent events and activities from this school year, discuss ways to continue supporting the health and wellness of our students and staff, and begin looking ahead to goals and opportunities for next year.
We appreciate the support and involvement of our families and community as we work together to promote a healthy and successful school environment for all students.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Today we celebrate our amazing bus drivers—Mr. Kase Hooper and Mr. Rene Solis!
They take such great care of our students each day, safely getting them to and from school. They are the first friendly faces our students see in the morning—greeting them with enthusiasm and encouragement—and the last caring faces they see as they head home to their families.
We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and heart they bring to our district. We truly don’t know what we would do without them, and we are so blessed to have them as part of the Excelsior family! 💙🐾

Our Pre-K friends had a tree-mendous time wrapping up All About Earth Week!
To celebrate, they created the cutest nature bracelets using treasures they found outside—leaves, flowers, and all things nature! It was the perfect hands-on way to explore and appreciate the world around them.

We are proud to recognize Mrs. Caroline Cox, our 5th–8th grade science teacher, as the Excelsior ISD Teacher of the Year! This is Mrs. Cox’s second year of teaching, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have her as part of the Excelsior team.
We are grateful for the hard work and dedication she shows each day to support the success of her students and our school. From coaching the Beta Club Robotics Team to delivering engaging and inspiring science lessons, Mrs. Cox consistently goes above and beyond for our students.
