Ms. Chloe's 1st grade class finished "Read Across America" week with "Starbooks" Learning Cafe! They had some amazing guest readers, learned about different genres, and even reviewed some of their math skills. Then they ended the day with a special snack!

Awards Day Reminder
Ms. Chloe's first grade class kicked off Read Across America week with a celebration of Dr. Seuss. The class read a biography about his life as well as a few of his fantastic books!
Excelsior ISD would like to congratulate our Beta team for placing at the State Convention that was held last week in Grapevine. They each have advance to the National Beta Convention that will be held over the summer in Orlando, FL!!
